The Every Morning Homemaking Community

The Every Morning Homemaking Community is for faith-filled homemakers who are tired of the noise from their phones — the distraction, the overwhelm, the overstimulation — and ready to live more present, more prayerful, and more peaceful in their homes and hearts.

The Problem We All Know About

There is always more to be done. Inside the mind of a homemaker, there are many lists: things to clean, meals to prep, lessons to teach, appointments to make, playdates to set up, extracurriculars to manage, dates to plan, the list goes on. It is a beautiful thing, all that the homemaker holds in her mind and heart and all that she can accomplish.

But that is not the end of her list.

Our current technological world has filled her mind with many other things of concern. She doesn’t know how to balance them but she does know inside, it feels noisy. The constant notifications, the overflowing email inboxes, the promotional clutter, the news stories that horrify her, and the variety messages to respond to. It is overwhelming with no end in sight.

  • She wants to rest but has forgotten how to do anything other than numb herself with infinite scrolling.

  • She wants to pray but struggles with stillness and silence.

  • She has joked about throwing her phone out the window and going off the grid because deep down she knows something feels disordered.

  • She’s tried to set time limits on her screen time but it hasn’t worked.

  • She is afraid to miss out on things in the virtual world.

  • She wants connection and social media helps her feel that way.

If you relate to any of this, you are not failing. You are managing way more than you realize.

But it doesn’t have to be this hard.

Serving with Two Hands

I created The Every Morning Homemaking Community because I was once that same woman. Through a series of surrendered moments before the Lord and a long year and a half “off the grid” away from it all, this community was born. A community to bring homemakers together to help them detach from their phones and serve in their vocations from a place of peace. Undivided. Unhurried. And open to the Lord. Serving with two hands, instead of one while the other is clinging to a screen.

This community exists to support one another in the mission of serving the Lord in the vocation of homemaking beginning with a well-ordered interior life free from attachments and fully present to the tasks at hand.

Titled Every Morning Homemaking after the verse in Lamentations 3 which reminds us his mercies are new every morning, this community is led not through guilt, but through solidarity, accountability, and the grace that comes from a nourished prayer life built on the unending mercy of God. Who never tires of giving to us in our need of Him.

Though our lives may be quite different, we share the same universal call: to grow in holiness and to cultivate an environment in our homes where our families can grow too.  The vocation of homemaking is a vocation of great purpose! In the practical, the mundane and the ordinary daily tasks, we have an opportunity to encounter the Lord and serve him with our whole selves.

Serving with two hands. That’s what we are all about!

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is thy faithfulness.
— Lamentations 3:22-23

What you’ll find in this community:

Inside you'll find women who understand the longing — for quieter mornings, unhurried evenings, and hands busy with something that matters. Women who have set aside half-finished quilts, unplayed pianos, recipes they meant to try. Women want their creativity back, their prayer back, their presence back, and their peace of mind back. Women who are bravely choosing to walk a different path.

You don’t have to do it alone. Let’s journey together!

Did I mention? It’s FREE!
